Lauren Mills, DDS

Dr. Lauren Mills grew up in the Lansing area and discovered her passion for orthodontics through her own treatment with Drs. Faust and Grubaugh. Inspired by the positive impact of her experience, she pursued a career focused on helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Dr. Mills earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kalamazoo College and a master's degree in Physiology from the University of Michigan. She then received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University, graduating with top academic honors and earning induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. She completed her orthodontic specialty training and Master of Science degree in Oral Sciences at the University of Illinois Chicago.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Mills participated in research involving behavior analysis, orofacial pain, bone physiology, and craniofacial growth and development. Her work has been published in several scientific and orthodontic journals, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based care.

Dr. Mills is dedicated to creating healthy, confident smiles through a gentle, personalized approach. She strives to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families while ensuring every patient feels informed, understood, and comfortable throughout treatment.

Outside the office, Dr. Mills enjoys trying new restaurants, playing the piano, drawing, painting, gardening, and spending time with her family.
